Battery Replacement

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR BATTERY LATELY?

Batteries are the strong, silent member of your vehicles vital components. A battery that allows a car to start at the first turn of the key is a joyful thing but it has a limited lifespan – on average around 3 years – and once it starts to fail, it is much less likely to respond to recharging. This is because the positive plates in the battery degrade over time, which reduces its ability to store and deliver power to start and operate the vehicle.

Signs of a failing car battery can be:
  • Engine not turning over quickly on start-up.
  • Your headlights look dim at idle and then brighten when you rev the engine.
  • You've needed to jumpstart your battery three or more times.
  • Your electrical accessories aren't responding as quickly as normal.
  • The battery age.
